BACKGROUND
For the past 30 years, Slobodan has been working as a freelance writer/director for TV and film companies in the US, England, Germany, and
Yugoslavia. Experienced in both the creative and business ends of the film industry through his own production company, Eden Rock Production, he
has written, directed, and produced award-winning dramas, documentaries, live broadcasts, music videos, and commercials. Pesic’s first full-length
feature film as writer and director, “The Harms Case”, was selected as an official entry for the 1988 Cannes Film Festival, and has garnered praise at
film festivals in Berlin, Mannheim, Jerusalem, Montreal, Toronto, San Francisco, Chicago, and Hong Kong. Pesic co-wrote two books: THE CUBE
(HarperCollins – San Francisco, 1995) followed by SECRETS OF THE CUBE (Hyperion/Disney, 1998). Both books sold more than 500,000 copies
and were published in Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Holland, Japan, China, and Serbia.
He currently lives between Belgrade and New York and has been working as a professor at Webster University. (USA) – 2020-22
